Wales is part of the United Kingdom, and thus follows the required visa entry requirements of the country as a whole. Although the United Kingdom has showcased an interest to renew visa policies as a result of Brexit, the initial visa requirements shall not change. Generally, individuals require a visa if they fall under any of these particular statuses:
- Non-EEA citizens
- Non-Swiss citizens
- Non-Commonwealth citizens
- Stateless persons
- Holders of unrecognized passports by the United Kingdom
Each country’s visa requirements are unique, however for those that do require a visa, this includes the following documentation:
- UK visa application form
- Two photographs (color)
- Valid passport
- Proof of financial means while traveling in the UK
- Proof of accommodation
- Detailed travel itinerary
- Tuberculosis test results
- Biometric information
- Paid UK visa fees
- Certified translations for any documents not in English or Welsh
