Glasgow – Travel Requirements

Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, and thus follows the required visa entry requirements of the country as a whole. Although the United Kingdom has showcased an interest to renew visa policies as a result of Brexit, the initial visa requirements shall not change. Generally, individuals require a visa if they fall under any of these particular statuses:

  • Non-EEA citizens
  • Non-Swiss citizens
  • Non-Commonwealth citizens
  • Stateless persons
  • Holders of unrecognized passports by the United Kingdom

Each country’s visa requirements are unique, however for those that do require a visa, this includes the following documentation:

  • UK visa application form
  • Two photographs (color)
  • Valid passport
  • Proof of financial means while traveling in the UK
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Detailed travel itinerary
  • Tuberculosis test results
  • Biometric information
  • Paid UK visa fees
  • Certified translations for any documents not in English or Welsh
